TRADITIONAL JAPANESE ROASTED GREEN TEA - Farmed with natural practices in Uji Prefecture in Japan our roasted Hojicha tea is made the traditional way by harvesting larger, older leaves and stems, steamed to prevent fermentation, then mixed with volcanic sand and roasted in revolving ovens. The sand is later removed leaving a naturally roasted flavor.
